The slugs managed to eat most of the poppies which were planted out early last year. Another gardener has suggested putting down slug pellets in November to wipe out the slugs in the early stages of development.

The sweet corn crop 2 years ago was OK, probably due to the rain.....last years wasn’t so good. Hoping for better this year.

Various other vegetables we are trying this year include sweet peppers, chilli peppers and different varieties of tomatoes.
